Rick and Cheryl Matlock are first year owners. They admittedly had a slow start to their Home Video Studio business because of some family health issues. But today they are steadily moving onward and upward, and their weekly sales keep climbing.
Rick is still employed fulltime for a Texas oil company but he works part-time in the studio. He is responsible for editing videos for their customers.
Cheryl, meanwhile, is working fulltime at the couple's Home Video Studio. She left her job doing media-related work for a local church. Since that time, she has dedicated herself to marketing the couple's Home Video Studio and producing some of the creative work, as well. They belong to their area's Chamber of Commerce.
The Matlock's studio has also been featured several times in their local newspaper. They received attention for participating in Home Video Studio's Great American Home Movie project. Film transfer has been one HVS profit center that has been very good to the Matlocks. They credit home movie transfers as being a consistent mainstay in their business.
The couple is now gearing up to participate in an area trade show next month, where they hope to attract many new customers. The Matlocks also plan to schedule several Movie Nite⢠presentations to promote Home Video Studio's Lifestories⢠videos. There are numerous retirees living in Midland, who would be great candidates for putting their life story on video!
Congratulations to Rick and Cheryl for your early successes! Keep up the good work.
